ALK-Abelló management change
Summary: ALK-Abelló has appointed Jørgen Damsbo Andersen new Executive Vice President of Business Operations & International Marketing and member of the Board of Management of ALK-Abelló A/S.
The Board of Directors of ALK-Abelló today appointed Jørgen Damsbo Andersen new Executive Vice President of Business Operations & International Marketing and member of the Board of Management, succeeding Anders Hedegaard, who will be pursuing a career outside the company. It is expected that Jørgen Damsbo Andersen will take up his new position on November 1, 2007, at the latest.
Jørgen Damsbo Andersen (47) is currently in charge of ALK-Abelló’s Northern European Region. He joined ALK-Abelló in 2006 and has extensive experience from previous jobs in the pharmaceutical industry with companies such as Novo Nordisk, UCB/Celltech and Orion Pharma. Jørgen Damsbo Andersen holds an MSc in Economics and Business Administration from the Copenhagen Business School.
